FORMER pop star George Michael is back in South Africa, his second visit in six months.
The former Wham! singer flew into Skukuza, Mpumalanga, on a private plane yesterday morning.
When he was here in September, he bought several pieces of local art. He was lying low at the Lion Sands private game resort then, following his most recent embarrassing incident in a public toilet in the UK.
The 45-year-old was bust in a public toilet near Hampstead Heath park and found in possession of crack cocaine.
He was subsequently let off with a warning.
Michael is now back to stay at the R65000-a-night lodge and this time he is bringing six friends to keep him company.
Former Wham! back-up singer and dancer Shirlie Kemp (née Holliman) and her son, songwriter and friend David Mortimer, music producer Caroline True and two other close friends of Michael.
They will stay at the exclusive lodge until Monday, then fly by private jet to Cape Town, where they will spend a few weeks
